We regularly sit around the table with customers who are unsure about alarms via telephone, SMS, 3G and 4G or paging.
Every customer has different needs, but when it comes to large expansive buildings (often with cold stores) where there is sometimes no GSM coverage, people are not allowed to use a telephone or perform heavy work, we often arrive at 'paging' as the ideal solution.
The very high reliability in combination with the low purchase costs are often decisive. The alarm receivers are waterproof, robust and a lot cheaper than a telephone. In the event of an alarm, the device will beep and vibrate loudly, in some cases it cannot be turned off or almost all buttons are disabled.
Because the users of our systems need immediate help (<60 seconds), they often opt for 'paging'. It is inconceivable that someone has not heard their phone or does not receive an SMS when someone is in cardiac arrest.
For many other applications, we do fully rely on GSM, SMS and PUSH, which is why we have incorporated this solution in our alarm systems. In the most extensive case, you will be alerted in 5 different ways! That notification will not be missed, will it?
