However, these residents are not always self-reliant and may need more time to leave the home in case of fire, smoke or other calamities.

In recent years, older people have been living independently in 55+ residential complexes or senior housing at an increasingly later age. Healthcare institutions place high demands on fire safety, but this is not the case in independent residential complexes. However, these residents are not always self-reliant and may need more time to leave the home in case of fire, smoke or other calamities.
It is possible to have a certified fire alarm system installed in such complexes, but these are often not required by the fire brigade, involve a lot of installation costs and cannot be automatically forwarded to the fire brigade.
Firecom BV has developed a wireless alarm and communication system to be able to alert quickly in the event of an emergency. The purpose of the alarm system is to quickly alert all residents of the desired evacuation. This evacuation can be initiated by pressing a sermon slide. Via a second button it is possible to reset the alarm.

More information
The system is modular, it is therefore possible, for example, to buy the transmitter together as a VVE. On delivery, we ensure that the system has sufficient coverage throughout the entire object. Residents can then independently purchase a reception unit from us. They state the unique system code that you receive at the transmitter.
It is possible to provide customized solutions and, for example, to install a button with a key switch. In addition, residents may use a wireless alarm receiver if they do not want a fixed unit with a flashlight. This is also a lot cheaper.
To use this system, a wireless transmission license is required from the Telecom Agency. Depending on the configuration, this permit costs between € 53 and € 240 per year. Please contact us for a correct quote.
