The Icom IC-M94DE is the world's first VHF handheld with DSC and AIS in one!
The AIS receiver and DSC function provide extra safety on the water. The integrated AIS function accurately displays vessel traffic, and the AIS also makes it very easy to make individual DSC calls. An emergency call can be easily made with the emergency button on the back of the device.

6W power and 10 hours standby
The 6 watt transmit power of the Icom IC-M94DE provides a wider communication range for the user. The included BP-306 2400 mAh (typical) high-capacity Li-ion battery provides 10 hours of standby under normal conditions (Approximate, typical operation with TX: RX: Standby = 5: 5: 90 (when the power save function is enabled). )

Industry-leading 1500mW audio output
Icom's custom high-capacity speaker delivers a loud (typical) 1500 mW audio output with enhanced acoustic sound clarity for noisy marine environments.

Features Float'n Flash and MOB Auto Set Features
The Icom IC-M94DE will float and the Float'n Flash will be activated automatically. In that case, the lights, display and keyboard will flash so that the radio can be easily found. If you activate the emergency button while Float'n Flash is working, the MOB distress signal will be emitted, instead of an indistinct general signal , for better protection of all people on the water.

Simplified navigation function
The navigation function guides you to a specified waypoint. You can assign up to 50 favorite fishing spots or destinations as waypoints.

AquaQuake™
If the VHF has fallen into water, it has the AquaQuake water drainage function that ensures that all the water is removed from the loudspeaker on the basis of vibrations.
