Although the walkie-talkies and pagers we supply are of very good quality because we only work with renowned brands, it can sometimes happen that they need maintenance and / or have to be repaired. You can not only contact Firecom for advice and / or the purchase of walkie-talkies or pagers, but also for repair and maintenance. We think it is important that you as a customer can contact us with all your questions and / or problems.

Our service department with specialists is available to maintain and / or repair your communication equipment. There are two options:

  • A technical specialist will visit you on location for maintenance and / or repair
  • Or you send the defective equipment to us and the technical specialist carries out the maintenance or repair at Firecom.

What is the procedure if you as a customer send a product for repair to Firecom?

You can contact Firecom for the repair and maintenance of your existing means of communication. Our service department is available 5 days a week for service and repair. Our specialists are trained to make repairs to radio communication equipment.

The following procedure is used when sending a repair:

  • First of all, download a repair form from our website. The repair form must be completed as completely as possible. (Repair forms that are not fully completed are not processed by our repair department).
  • As soon as the repair has been received at Firecom, it will be prepared for the repairs to be processed.
  • You will receive a confirmation of receipt of the repair from us.
  • A technical employee assesses the repair.
  • You will receive a repair proposal from the technical employee, which you can then accept or refuse. If you refuse the proposal, the products will be returned to you or we can dispose of them for you in an environmentally friendly manner. 
  • If you accept the repair proposal, the technical employee will start working on the repair for you.
  • If there are any questions about the repair by the technical employee, he or she will contact you!
  • Once the repair is successful, the repaired products will be shipped to you.

For extensive support questions, we can contact Motorola, Kenwood and Hytera. Fortunately, we rarely use that. If it is necessary, we do not hesitate!

If you want to be assured of the functioning of your communication equipment, it is possible at Firecom to conclude a maintenance contract / service-level agreement (SLA) on your communication equipment.

Your walkie-talkies and call systems, including all associated equipment, are always provided with the latest firmware. Response times depend on the desired maintenance contract. Regardless of the chosen contract, our relations are always assured of an excellent service level. If you do not wish to conclude a maintenance agreement, but would like to have your walkie-talkies serviced / checked occasionally, this is also possible.

What is the procedure if you want a technical specialist to visit you on location?

If you want a technical specialist to visit your location to repair and / or maintain your communication system, this is of course also possible. It is best to contact us by calling 085 401 980 or by sending an email to info@firecom.nl

The employees of the sales support department will then give you appropriate advice for your situation as soon as possible. They can give you an indication of the price and schedule an appointment for the repair.
