Have a repair done at Firecom? That's how it works with us!

Even though the radios and pagers we supply are of very good quality, because we only work with renowned brands, it can sometimes happen that they require maintenance because certain functions no longer work. You can contact Firecom not only for advice and/or purchase, but also for the repair of your critical communication equipment. You can contact Firecom with all your questions and/or problems.

At Firecom it is therefore possible to submit your walkie-talkies or pagers for repair. Our technical department can examine/repair products from various brands such as Motorola, Swissphone, TPL and Kenwood.

The costs for the research are always €20 per device excluding VAT. If we have to offer the device to an external party, these costs may differ. 

If you want to be sure that your communication equipment always functions properly, it is also possible to conclude a maintenance contract with us. Please do not hesitate to contact us, so that we can look together for the best options in your situation.

The shipping costs of €15 will not be reimbursed by Firecom, unless the costs of the repair exceed €250. The expected date on which the repair will be completed remains an indication at all times. We can never guarantee with 100% certainty that a repair will be completed on the agreed date. However, we always try to repair your repair as quickly as possible. Our goal is to complete a repair within 10 business days.

Step 1: Complete our repair form digitally

The repair form must be completed as completely as possible. It is helpful for the Field Service Engineers if you describe the complaint or defect as clearly and comprehensively as possible. After the repair form has been sent, you will receive a unique RMA number from us at the email address you provided. You can use this number if you have any questions about the repair.

Please note: We cannot process a repair without a repair form (RMA number) or an incompletely completed form. 

Step 2: Send your repair to Firecom

You can pack the products and send them to the Firecom office address in Lekkerkerk, attn. Dept. Repair. Please state here always your RMA number. You will receive the RMA number via email. To speed up the process and ensure it runs smoothly, we ask that you write down the RMA number on/in the box.

Step 3: Receipt of your repair by Firecom

As soon as we have received the repair, you will receive a confirmation from us. The repair is then placed under 'repairs to be processed', so that the Field Service Engineers can start working on it.

Step 4: Assessment by the technical service

Firecom's Field Service Engineers assess the repair. If you have checked the quote option on the digital form, you will receive a repair proposal by e-mail. This repair proposal contains an indication of the expected costs.

Step 5: The repair proposal

If you agree with the repair proposal, you can accept the proposal. Refusal is also possible. If you refuse the proposal, the products will be returned. If you no longer want to use the items, we can dispose of them for you in an environmentally friendly manner. In case of refusal, the investigation costs are €20 per device excluding VAT.

If the repair proposal is accepted, the Field Service Engineers will start working on your repair as soon as possible.

Step 6: Repair by the technical service

The Field Service Engineer has started the repairs for you. If the Field Service Engineer has any questions about the repair, he or she will contact you. Depending on the repair, we order parts needed to repair your product. Firecom tries to maintain a large stock of service parts. Unfortunately, the required parts are not always in stock. These parts will then be ordered for you from the manufacturer, which may increase the delivery time of your repair.

Step 7: Return shipment

If the repair is successful, the product will be sent back to you.
