Description of the EkoTek Repeater
The EkoTek repeater unit provides detailed location determination of the equipment. Each repeater has a range of approximately 20 meters. You give each repeater its own name via the central hub. If the alarm is created near that repeater, you will immediately see where the alarm was created. For example: “Pager 6 man-down in the toilet”. The location is communicated to the assistance pagers and the central hub. For example: “Emergency call - Room 8” or for example “Man DownPager 5 - warehouse”.
The sensitivity of location determination can be adjusted via the central hub. The system generates a unique network with self-healing properties. If a repeater fails, communication will be automatically restored via another repeater.
