In a small or medium-sized department store, walkie-talkies (earphones) have added value. They make it possible to quickly exchange a message with the whole person. A license-free walkie-talkie has more than enough range in this case. The Kenwood PKT-23e and the Motorola CLP446 are the most popular two-way radios. We recommend the Kenwood PKT-23e because it can also be used without an earpiece and is cheaper.   Fair note: keep in mind that the earphones are consumer products. These need to be replaced regularly because they wear out.
