There will be a new mission-critical broadband communication system for the emergency services. This new communication system, with the working title of NOOVA (National Public Order and Security Architecture), will eventually replace the current C2000, including alarms and object communication. In addition to speech, new data options are also possible, such as sensors, telemetry and video. The Ministry of Justice and Security is working on a program plan for this, which is currently being assessed by the Information Provision Consultation Program (POI). Meanwhile, preparations continue unabated.
