General

Motorola telemetry makes it possible to have equipment communicating with each other over a great distance. When it comes to walkie-talkies and mobile radios, we soon think of voice communication. However, it is also possible to send short text messages on status messages. Via these status messages it is possible to remotely activate a mobile phone contact. By default it is possible to send three different contacts. It is also possible to receive a response after a change. In this way it is possible to activate or deactivate machines from a great distance. After a short while you may receive a status message as to whether the equipment is actually switched on or off.

Big distance

Motorola mobile telephones make it possible to communicate over long distances. When set up correctly, it is possible to bridge a distance of 5 to 25 kilometers. If desired, it is also possible to order one amplifier to put in between.

Application

The applications are very large. Here are a few examples:

  • Activate and deactivate machines
  • Activate and deactivate sirens
  • Activate and deactivate pumps
  • Turn lights on and off.
