For programming large numbers of Swissphone pagers it is possible to use our ProgClient. We deliver this prog client in impact-resistant transport cases. The cases contain a tablet with 4G/5G connection and a programming set. The suitcases can be placed in barracks or main posts. With our cases you can prepare programming from a central location.

What is possible

With the case it is possible to send both firmware and software updates to the pagers. The cases are in the field and the user only needs to put the pager in the case for a few seconds. New updates will be installed automatically.

How does it work exactly?

The case contains a tablet that uses Windows. We therefore advise you to include this tablet in the management environment of your own organization. We therefore send the case 'not programmed' to you. After the Windows tablet has been integrated into your environment, we advise you to install Teamviewer so that we can help remotely. In addition, we advise you to create a Teams channel including the option to share files. On the tablet, select the option to always keep files locally.

If you have multiple programming cases, they use the same Teams environment and always look in the same folders.

In the file structure, each pagers in your organization has its own folder. We can create these for you in bulk if necessary. You only save the programming files and firmware files in the serial number folder created for that purpose. The programming file (.tcf) may have the name of, for example, the volunteer. In this way, the makes are easy to search.

Most important points

  • The tablet is in your own Windows environment
  • A separate Teams channel needs to be created
  • Teamviewer must be installed
  • Only save the programming files in the serial number folder and NOT in separate barracks or district folders
  • All work in the same Teams environment
