The complexity of healthcare has increased in recent years. Clients need more and more intensive help and unfortunately this is also accompanied by incidents of aggression. It is very important here that employees and clients are safe and feel safe. As an aid, you can think of purchasing an alarm system, walkie-talkies or pagers (beepers). We make a distinction between the clinical and the outpatient care sector.

Clinical sector

In the clinical sector, colleagues often work closely together, physically in the same or adjacent building. You want to alert several colleagues at the touch of a button if an emergency situation occurs. This is quite possible with a paging system. For this you need different location beacons that the pagers can detect in the building. You also need pagers with which you can alarm at the touch of a button. A mandown option is also possible, whereby colleagues are alerted by means of fall protection. All colleagues, or some colleagues, can wear this pager. It is also possible to link the fire alarm control panel (BMC) to this device. You can also use this system for evacuation drills.

Ambulatory sector

For a long time it has not been possible to call in help from colleagues in case of an emergency during home visits. This can give an unsafe feeling, after all, something can also happen at a distance where the right help is needed quickly. Fortunately, today's systems offer the possibility to alarm colleagues from a distance. The pagers use GPS location determination. If help is needed, the employee presses the pager with the alarm ringing on a mobile phone. The receiver of this alarm can accurately see where the colleague is on the mobile phone. It is also possible to listen and speak remotely.
