Field service engineer

Firecom specializes in the sale, maintenance and service of walkie-talkies, walkie-talkie networks, call systems and alarm receivers for emergency response, industry, security, care and education. We prefer to work with renowned brands such as Motorola and Kenwood. Because it has been quite busy within our company lately, we are looking for someone who can help us maintain, install and assemble the installations that we place with our customer.

(field) service engineer (32-40 hours)

What does the work entail?

  • Maintenance and updating of call systems, radio (s) and radio networks
  • Independent assembly of customer-specific electronic applications
  • Installation of paging system, radio (s) and radio networks
  • Programming and testing new installations at our office or at the customer's location
  • Solving malfunctions at the customer's location
  • Every day we try to help our customers as well as possible and to find nice solutions. You actively participate in that!

We ask from you:

  • MBO working and thinking level (preferably in electrical engineering)
  • Willing to travel long distances together with a colleague
  • Extensive ICT experience
  • Experience with programming systems
  • Extensive knowledge of MotoTRBO systems or comparable systems
  • Driving License B
