Technique
The sound carrier is not on the ears so that they can remain protected. The sound is guided through the hearing protection with ultrasonic vibrations. The band that runs behind the head ensures that the Smartman's speaker drivers press lightly against the jawbone. This light pressure is sufficient to transfer the vibrations from the speaker drivers to the jawbone. The jawbone ensures that the sound arrives at the ear canal: after all, sound is vibration.
